Fabric Frenzy..

Fabric Frenzy..

By this point we had been in Walthamstow about 6 hours and many trips back to the car with our booty.

I said to eldest… that’s it just want to look now, no more fabric YEAH RIGHT!

New Fabric Shop is much further down the High Street and is run by Jay who is toying with the idea of moving to markets in the north home counties …. trust me, we did our best to persaude him given the dire shortage of fabric shops, especially one’s that sell dressmaking fabrics.

Jay admits to being a Dinosaur when it comes to social media so again I took it upon myself for the betterment of our sewing community to ‘sell’ him the idea of website, twitter, facebook etc so we can get our hands on his swag without the monster drive into the East End. I felt it my duty :0)

YEEEES – so glad you made it your duty! His swag’s needed – he should get his cyber groove set up, and go-go-go to the North Counties!
Speaking of which, do you skype or facetime (apple only, but better than skype)? Would love to chat real time, talk sewing, all that jazz.xx

Super! Let’s email each other – daughter will explain about log-ons & hopefully understand why I’d rather not broadcast mine to the world.
        Really LOVE your posts today!!!

Oh and thank you, on a real flow today. Hubbie has had to settle for an Indian Takeaway rather than the usual traditional English Sunday roast :0)

Way ta go! A little chicken vindaloo won’t hurt him! I just put in Mon & Tues posts, but gotta get to sewing another hot project amongst the several projects going! Oohh – and get that red cord washed & dried, too! Maybe I’ll do take-away, too…..
