One Hour Frenzy …

The sewing mojo was hiding somewhere the past few days but when I got up this morning I saw it peeking out at me from under a pile of clean washing in my bedroom.

A gorgeous poppy vintage barkcloth from circa 1950’s that I bought a few weeks back was staring me full and square in the face!

I’ve known for a while now that I wanted to make some lovely simple cushions for Judy’s Vintage Fair. I love the straight forward cover as it shows the beauty of the fabric, both design and texture. Now don’t get me wrong, I like any girl love bling! Just not for home furnishings, plus the purist in me pushes to the front. Hence, I can’t bring myself to put frills etc onto cushion covers!

Sporting the, pulled through a hedge backwards look I set to work …… Yep, in my dressing gown. Yipee! Mojo found 🙂

In an hour I had my first cushion and I am so delighted with it, many more will be made today to create a family of poppy cushions.

hope you like them.

A-D-O-R-E your fabric, and you’ve done a grand job placing the design onto the pillow! Glad your mojo’s back! xxx del
