Fail To Prepare, Prepare To Fail

Well prep done!

Fingers and toes crossed Kiddie’s Klobber workshop will go great.

Am pottering away to my bed now, not much sleep I’m guessing as I will run the workshop over and over but hey ho! Small price to pay for the outcome, more of those happy faces I’m hoping.

Will report back here with details later on this weekend.

PolkaTastic!

PolkaTastic!

Getting ready to rumble.

Kiddie’s Klobber workshop tomorrow with some fabulous ladies who are treading into the unknown with some basic machine skills.

Workshop came about as a direct request from some attendees of my Absolute Beginners workshop.

The desire to learn to make garments as unique as their little one’s.

The joy of being able to sew is only the seamstress/tailor limits their creations once the core skills are learnt.

Before long these brave, creative souls will be sewing up a storm and delighting in that pleasure when people comment “did you really make that yourself, you’re so clever”.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it started on good foundations. My aim is to give them the good foundations.

This little skirt is a sample I ran up before workshop to be sure it goes together well, is effective without overloading the learner with too much technicality. Yet!

Hope you agree this age 3 reversible skirt turned ut pretty well?
